ObjectivesOriginally the "National Housewives Register", it was founded in 1960 as somewhere for women to go to enjoy good discussion and conversation which was not centred on their children or domestic lives. The organisations has evolved over time, but still values it original ethos, Space to be you.
Regular MeetingsMeetings are twice a month on Monday evenings. Members choose their own programme for the year, including various discussions, social evenings and talks in members' homes. There is no hierarchy, agenda or minutes.
Further InformationAnnual National Conference one weekend each Spring, with speakers, discussions and workshops.
